SO my housemate and I have a project we’re working on! I’m illustrating her story, while she’s helping me flesh out my story, and then I’m illustrating that, too!

I think I spent at least 5 hours, if not more, on the first page of her project. The first page… I need to color more efficiently. But it looks… really really pretty.

I’ve been a little busy, but not too much. Let me share some things that have occupied my time.

As a side project I’ve been painting dogs that are currently adoptable through my city’s Alternative Humane Society! It’s a no-shelter no-kill dog rescue. All the dogs I’m painting are dogs that actually exist, and are looking for homes. I want to make some prints of these so I can give the profits of selling prints to the Humane Society.

… But people have to buy them first. I’m still figuring out a way to advertise these. I’ve only shown them off on small websites I frequent.

Enough talk! Here are the dogs.

But the time I spent looking dug into my savings an uncomfortable amount… Paying application fees, traveling back and forth, basic food expenses, and places to stay while looking has drained the savings I had in order to pay for several months for my share of rent. Now I’m in a bit of a bind. I’m currently searching for work, and it hasn’t been going very well, but I’m looking.

I’m asking for help in the form of Art for money. Below are samples.

I think that the only reason I dreamed about the game, before seeing my friend play was…I’m almost pretty sure because I watched either my cousin, or my neighbor, play it when I was too young to pay attention to those kinds of things.

That didn’t stop me from thinking of Ocarina of Time as my dream game. I loved it then, and I’m still loving it now.

So posts may be a little sparse, but I’ll try and post something. The library is pretty close by, and I… I think they have scanners.
